 Cautions for Operation ::::::

LCD is made of glass, care must be exercised to avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong mechanical shocks, and the following cautions should be taken when handling LCD.
If the LCD panel breaks, do not allow the liquid crystal to get in your mouth. If the liquid crystal touch your skin or clothes, wash it off immediately with soap and water.
Glass can be easily chipped or cracked from rough handling. Care must be exercised to keep the area clear from unreasonable pressure.
The polarizer covering the displays surface is soft and could be easily scratched, handle with care.
Do not soil or damage LCD panel terminals.
Keep the display surface clean and not touch it with your skin.
Do not touch the exposed polarizer with anything harder than an HB pencil lead. To clean dust off the display surface, wipe gently with cotton, chamois or other soft material soaked in petroleum benzene. Never scrub hard, wipe off saliva, water or solvent droplets immediately. Contact with water over a prolonged period may cause polarizer to deform or its color to fade.
Chemicals such as acetone, toluene, ethanol and isopropyl alcohol will damage the polarizer. Avoid oil and fat, Avoid Iacquer and epoxy which might contain solvents and hardeners that erode the electrodes. Some solvents such as freon or trichloro-ethane will also seep into the epoxy covering the DIL pins and thereby cause corrosion of the connection.
When soldering DIL pins, avoid excessive heat, keep soldering temperature between 260 oC to 300 oC and apply heat for no more than 5 seconds. Never use wave or reflow soldering. The LCD surface should be covered to avoid flux spatter. Flux residues should be removed afterward.
Do not drive LCD with AC voltage, keep driving voltage within specified limit. Excess voltage shortens displays life. Within limit, the viewing angle can be fine tuned by varying the LCD driving voltage, particularly in the case of STN. Response time increase with decreases in temperature.
Do not apply pressure to CCFL. It may be damaged.
LCD should be stored in a dark place at 25oC+/-10oC and 65% RH maximum. Store away from direct sunlight and fluorescent light.
Do not store where there are organic solvents or corrosive gases. Do not crush, vibrate or jolt the module or its components.
